Noble Breaks Ground On 351-MW of Wind in New York State

New York, United States [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] Noble Environmental Power, a leading wind energy developer, announced that it will break ground this week on New York State's four newest windparks. Combined, the windparks located in Clinton, Franklin and Wyoming counties will be capable of generating 351 megawatts (MW) of energy using 234 General Electric 1.5-MW wind turbines.

In addition, the projects represent a US $702 million investment in renewable energy that will provide an estimated total of US $305 million in new revenue to the local host communities over the next 20 years. Noble Altona Windpark (Clinton County) Noble Chateaugay Windpark and the Noble Bellmont Windpark (Franklin County)
