"I think now, more than ever before, acting in an environmentally responsible way is top-of-mind with our employees and potential employees. Our core business is about helping utilities and companies think differently about energy consumption, we want to attract employees who share these values."

I think it's fantastic to offer green incentives to potential and current employees. People don't realize how important it is for the corporate sector to set a green example, because that is exactly where the economy and technology can drive a movement toward viable renewable energy standards, rather than waiting for legislation. My company is working hard to go green as we speak, as we just entered the REC market, as well as working exceptionally hard to greenify all of our business practices. I think it's a wave of the future that everyone can get in on.

Great article!

http://www.greenenergychoice.com

I am pleased to hear the level at which these things are going on. It helps to counter the drag on the economy of ordinary people being forced to subsidize old-energy. Maybe new energy benefits by having been handicapped by old-energy special perks and privileges. When the tipping point happens, maybe less-than-best-practice groups will be washed out. The danger of subsidies is allowing less-than-best-practice to give good technology black eyes.

Admitted, doing a green job is not the easiest of things, since it requires a lot of technical know how about the subject one is dealing with. However, this is a characteristic for any kind of job or employment that one needs. Moreover, the subject is one that is extremely interesting, and for those interested in technical stuff, it may not become better than this. The best part about this kind of a venture is that technologies are always improving, and this means that there a great number of chances to improvise upon, as a contractor or an employee.

The second type of energy that a good number of people are asking for is energy that is harnessed from the power of wind. However, while solar energy is being used by different people from different sectors for different purposes, wind energy is being used by people in the industrial sector or their retailing sector. Moreover, in comparison to wind energy, solar energy is an avenue, which is much easier to follow up, once the initial installation has been done. Comparatively, solar energy panels, once fixed in place, require very little maintenance in front of any other source of energy.
