Marquiss Closes $1.3 Million in Financing

Folsom, California [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Marquiss Wind Power Inc. has announced that it has closed $1.3 million in Series A financing. The company manufactures roof-top wind turbines to help businesses generate affordable clean energy. The company's technology enables businesses to reduce their reliance on fossil fuels and showcase their concern for the environment with a roof-top mounted wind turbine.

Velocity Venture Capital and Strategis Early Ventures participated in the round. Payback on the systems can range from two years to seven years, depending on the purchaser's existing utility rates. The systems tie into utility grids and interacts seamlessly with customer's existing power supply.
