enXco Expands Wind Energy in Iowa

Escondido, California [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] enXco Development Corporation, an EDF EN Company, recently announced that enXco and MidAmerican Energy Company (MEC) have signed an amendment to a Turnkey Engineering, Procurement & Construction Services Agreement (TEPC) for the transfer and installation of an additional 75 megawatts (MW) to the existing 123 MW Pomeroy wind farm project, located in Pocahontas County in North-central Iowa.

The 50 1.5 MW sle GE wind turbines will be added to the initial 123 MW that are currently under construction.
