Out of five orders I only received one on time. I then had to go elsewhere for two more jobs when I could not get any confirmations on time lines. One order involved a sale of items already sold. I was never notified of this mistake untiI I had repeatedly ask where the order was for over a week. At that time it was 2 weeks past due and they said "maybe I can get you a credit or check for a refund". Now it is over 40 days with no refund or any help from customer service at headquarters with Kimia, much less the place of purchase at the local branch in Sacramento.
Now I will need to go to court to get my moneys returned. I really don't have time to deal with fraud like this from a distributor.
Are there any other smaller installers out there in the $ 1M gross sales range with this kind of issues? This vertical restructure/ merging into the larger companies like Itochu seems to leave service and products for the smaller companies behind.
On a very positive note I have to recommend AEE as a great distributor for Solar. They make up orders for my jobs in 1 or 2 days. They fix things when they go wrong immediately!
I will give an update after court.
