U.S. DOE Announces 2007 Solar Decathlon Teams

Third Solar Decathlon will be held October 12-20, 2007 on the National Mall.

The Decathlon's prototype solar homes are zero-energy, yield zero carbon, and will include the latest high-tech solutions and money-saving benefits to consumers, without sacrificing comfort, convenience, and aesthetics.

Why weren't solar-thermal technologies included? We are so far bewhind Europe in this area that it isn't funny! PV is a loser, until Spectrol's new cells become available, or the New Zealand solar cell (REW 4/20) is developed. Solar-thermal is here and now.
