I think Studer Cable's product BETAflam Solar is now approved UL/NEC2008 for both modules and interconnects. I believe SolarWorld is using this cable in the U.S. and other PV manufacturers are considering changing.

Hopefully this will help clear the road for wider adoption of transformerless inverters.

Does anyone know of any modules that are currently available with the new "PV Cable" (double dialectric) leads that are required when using Power-Ones new transformerless inverter in an ungrounded PV system?

When the AURORA Wind Inverter is operating, is the DC source power "electrically isolated" from the AC output at all times? I.e. does the Inverter use a transforemr or does it only use high speed IGBT H-bridge switching?
