"There is not a PV installer in the State that is not grateful and joyous to hear this from the Governor. Not only in solar but other renewable energy. This was part of Ritter's campaign and to hear him in the State of the State, this means a great deal to all of us and the environment."

I hope there are more stringent fuel standards and air pollution standards attached to this as well. It's well past time to take action against the brown cloud forming along the Front Range.

Colorado is a prime location for solar - the combination of 300+ days of sun per year and generally cooler temperatures make it ideas for PV. Glad to see it taking shape... Yes - give us Californians some competition!!

We would all like to see Colorado give California a little competition to see which state can install the most PV. Arnold took the lead, but we need other states to match the enthusiasm. Good work Bill Ritter.

"Ritter... has laid out infrastructure plans including assisting in the building of high voltage transmission lines to take advantage of wind power across Colorado's Great Plains, converting the State's fleet vehicles to a hybrid of flex-fuel and mandating energy efficiency compliance with new and renovated State Buildings."

What more could you ask of a governor. He should help run the energy department at the Federal Level.
