The fall election season is showing that wind power has become a visible part of the campaign landscape.

Good article. I'd like to point out that Texas is not just the number one producer of wind generated electricity. It is also the number one producer of greenhouse gases, and leads just about every other category of air pollution in the U.S. as well.
Currently, thanks in large part to the fast tracking of the process by Gov. Rick Perry, utilities are poised to build (16) new old technology coal fired power plants in Texas starting in 2007. It will take more than a few windmills to overcome that.
