"We do not intend to limit ourselves to U.S. biofuels as we believe that transportation companies have a responsibility to lead and fund research and development of new biofuels that can be produced, distributed and used with greater positive environmental impact than the current technologies used in the production of biofuels."

-- Sir Richard Branson, Virgin Group, founder

Sir Rich, you should sell pre-paid bio gas cards at your Virgin Records stores.

Its a questionable venture. To meet the Governor's goal, California's corn acreage would have to double. Where will the land come from, and where will the water? Ethanol from corn is under fire, and rough sailing may be in the near future.

Sir Richard,
If you want to invest in renewable energy technology may I suggest you investigate Hydrogen production, which can be made from water, Methane, and Biomass. Please look at website >www.users.bigpond.net.au/dngr < which produces Hydrogen. Needs support to build plant. The only way to meet the earth future energy need in total.

I still don't see solar up on many buildings and over field and dale. I saw that it takes too much fossile fuel to make hydro and so I guess that sun farming is better. I think it is safer. I don't understand why we don't have the solar electric car yet. I saw on a doc. show that they chose to market the hummer and actually crushed the little electric cars? Shocking? The TV show was on dish network last week.
