I've seen a reference about thermal power cells before on this site (by the same author), so it would be great if he or someone could throw more light on this technology. Is it genuine, one wonders?

The Thermal Power Cell now in development will seriously impact the bottom line in the future of Solar manufacturers. This cell works on heat not solar. An equivilant cell produces 40 times the power of a solar cell. It will cost 1/2 the price of a solar cell. Much more info available.

Herb. If solar cells can work at 10% efficiency, forty times this would be 400% which is 4X the amount of the energy of the sun falling upon the cell. Where does the other 300% come from?
