I think that this Adaptive Sweep Twist Blade will make wind energy production available for many locations in our country because up to now, wind farms could only be effectively located in areas of high winds or at high tower heights. I think the technology speaks for itself and expect the new blades to prove successful.

I can just picture in my mind how the blades will swivel as the wind speeds increase and provide more constant power at varying wind speeds. I am wondering if this application might also apply to under water turbine blades that would need to extract energy more consistently. The blades could be wide at low speeds and then swivel as currents increased.

A maximized amount of wind energy with new technology. We have to go for it.
