Peat Resources Limited holds rights to peat resources in northwestern Ontario and western Newfoundland. In Ontario, activity is focused on technology development and compliance with government regulatory requirements.

Well this is something new. We were taught that peat is a poor man's fuel to be dug out of the ground with long bladed shovels to be dried out and used. Now peat has found its way into the 21'st century. What a surprise.

Talk about "spin"! Never mind the burning of peat, the extraction of peat is an enviromental disaster and it creates large amounts of CO2.
Peat extraction is almost extinct as a business in Ontario so this soinds like a last gasp "hail Mary"
