"I thinks it's quite remarkable and farsighted in terms of the client, ACUA, to have actually not limited themselves to one form of renewable energy but to have looked at multiple uses and forms of renewable energy, and in my mind, take a pretty aggressive stance in executing both of them."

-- Jyothish Daniel, Vice President of Alternity Power

This is my first time to comment on this site. i dont know if anyone can help me out. i am looking at solar and wind energy business opportunity. the above article seems unique and interesting as it make use of combination of solar and wind energy and that will allow more flexibiility especially in our country ,the Philppines. i know the government her has incentives for wind power project but certainly a solar wind combination project will be better and more flexible.

Mr. Kulp, the tower is 262 feet to the hub, with 120 foot blades.
Mr. Hayes, the plant is expected to use all the solar and 60% of the wind power generated, with the balance sold by our partners to the grid.
Mr Plafkin, solar on schools (and shopping centers and other big box construction) makes too much sense.

We have a 50 acre farm located between Ada and Cascade, Michigan--5 miles from the Gerald R. Ford airport where over 30,000 people work in industries--12 miles from Grand Rapids. The Forest Hills school system has also purchased 45 acres next door to build a new school facility. If we could install both wind and solar on this farm, we would benefit schools, businesses, industries, and homes. Why pay Saudi Arabia 250 million dollars extra per day because of increases in oil prices. Better we should invest in the infrastructure of this country, and at least then we would own the assets.

This is a very exciting project. What would be truly unique is if there was more thought put into how to store such potentially large amounts of energy in ways besides batteries. There are plenty of ways to do more given the fact that this is a wastewater treatment facility.

This is a good ideal ! NOW put it all together in one structuer and using larger generators like a power plant and using solar heat on dubble glass around bottom up off the ground open all away around it to catch the solar heat in a heat engenine updraft. cone shape structure, focass wind on the jet fans for higher wind speeds.

To all who have read this artical its clear that many don't understand the facts of combining 8 defferant techs in one structure can match or pass the output of a steam power plant with a combinations from a renewable source that bridges the cap from wind, solar, tornado vortex, solar heat engines, Its called RENEWABLE THERMAL WIND POWER THE ENERGY POWER SOURCE, Energy from nature for nature and the enverioment and it makes drinking water as a by-product from its internal makeup. For more thinking out side the box of truely INNOVATIONS .

kennynabb6@win.net is where the answers lies for many of our plantes air and water problems. Inventer of the structure and spiral starters systems that make a natural wind ramjet power plant.
