"America is held over an oil barrel. We need to work together to provide new energy to hope and think big again. We are calling for a movement for energy independence from foreign energy sources. President Bush and Congress must invest in clean energy technology and new infrastructure that will create new jobs and make our country a leader in innovation again."

If Ringo is waiting for President Bush to help he is beating the wrong drum. We the public have to just do the right thing.
I ride a bicycle to work EVeryday EVen though I 50+. I drive a hybrid, I installed a solar grid tied system myself on my home and solar hot water and many other items.
Don't wait for the President or Government or you will be out in the cold.

I think that the Energy Information Administration report on oil price projections are flawed and should not be taken seriously. If the agency is going to assess oil at $54 a barrel in 2025, they must be getting their information from storytellers. Their predictions seems so far off it is funny but, unfortunately, the joke will be on us.

I hope our government workers in the E.I.A. will get serious for a change. They are starting to sound like President Bush earlier this year talking about how man made activities could not possibly cause climate changes.

Greetings in the name of CHRISTMAS !

On average how many US Dollars go to middle-eastern oil suppliers:
60 x 60, x 24, x 365.25 ! OR IN OTHER WORDS, every second we send how many US Dollars to one of the most volatile area's on the face of the earth !

Could one in a hundred of them go to alternate-clean energy sources ? Does anyone see " clouds on the horizon " and impending " storm " ? I do ! Regards, prmjr

Of course Mr. Ringo is correct, we are being held over an oil barrel and of course we are getting our reaming out too. And of course it's Bush and Cheney doing the holding and the oil companies doing the reaming. We are being held hostage so the oilies make out like bandits while we pay billions for unneeded wars and billions to rebuild or bail out those damaged after each drought, flood and hurricane.

Bush is saying to Cheney "OK uncle dick, hold em for me, I held em for you" but the words coming from their mouths are "we are making progress in Iraq" & "don't pay attention to the rest of the world on global warming, it isn't proven and it might cost us some jobs to fix it."

But have heart, the people are beginning to get wise to what's going on and Congress is beginning to take notice too.

Lets applaud the Apollo Alliance, Senate Minority Leader Reid, Senator Clinton, Senator Schumer and Governor Rendell.
