I love it but would like to see a not-too-technical discussion of how it works. What keeps it in one place? Caty in San Francisco

Snail's use of inverted wings to keep the platform for an ocean turbine planted on the ocean floor is creative. Logistics of getting the power out of the ocean and to the electric power grid will require as much creativity. I wish them well. Snail is a great application on an educational institution.
