The amazing thing is that this works with a nano-tech catalyst.

Ammonia isn't fun to have around when compressed, but it's the simplest form of Nitrogen storage going.

And dissolved in water it's, well, Mostly Harmless.

There may be logistical advantages of using ammonia as the "storage" for hydrogen. However, considering that the vast majority of ammonia is produced from natural gas, it would be interesting to see how the economics are helped by going through this intermediate step.

How do make the ammonia ? If it is synthesized with hydrogen produced from water splitting using nuclear power, then ok you have a GHG free source, otherwise getting the hydrogen from steam reforming is generating a lot of CO2 and depleting the natural gas reserves. The whole chain must be considered.
