GeoT*SOL basic 2.0 is designed for the planning and design of heat pump systems in one-and two-family homes. It offers a choice of five system configurations which can be used with air/water, water/water or brine/water heat pumps with geothermal probes or geothermal collector. You can select between systems which only supply low temperature heating, systems with additional domestic hot water heating supply or systems systems with heating for different temperature levels. It is also possible to consider the use of an additional solar thermal system.
The planning is done in quick and easy steps from the selection of one of the pre-defined systems, the definition of the requirements (heating, domestic hot water), the selection and control of the heat pump, the dimensionioning of the heat source and the tanks to the definition of the solar system. During the planning you can select from of over 1900 heat pumps of leading manufacturer in the component database.
To determine the results GeoT*SOL basic performs a dynamic annual simulation in 6-minute time steps and return all relevant characteristics of the selected heat pump, such as the seasonal performance factors of the heat pump, the heat pump system and the generator system or the annual generated energy of the heat pump and if necessary of the solar collector circuit.
