Orlando, FL This Thursday September 20, 2012, SolPowerPeople's ISPQ certified instructors and NABCEP Certified PV Installers Richard Stovall and Cathy Redson will offer priceless information for those preparing to take the NABCEP Solar PV Installer exam.
The NABCEP Solar Photovoltaic Installer ExamTM will be offered this Saturday at testing centers around the USA, offering the opportunity for many individuals to place themselves a cut above the rest in the fast paced, quickly evolving solar industry. Those planning to sit for this exam have undoubtedly been preparing for weeks or even years, and every minute taken in this effort will not be wasted. Whether you are a student at a University or a practicing electrician, one skill that will be a priceless going into this exam is a developed test-taking strategy. This may seem a little redundant, but hear me out.
How long will it take you to get through a trigonometry problem to determine inter-row shading?
How long will it take you to determine the maximum system voltage considering ambient temperature and temperature rise coefficients?
This exam is now 70 questions, 10 of which do not count towards the final score, but test takers will not know which ones these are and so will want to dedicate utmost attention and effort to all questions equally. With 4 hours to take the exam, this comes out to 3.42 minutes per question. How will you manage your time?
These are the types of things that are often overlooked but could easily make the difference in passing or not passing the NABCEP PVI exam.
Tune in Thursday for some great tips and guidance on test taking strategies from ISPQ certified instructors and NABCEP Certified PV Installers Richard Stovall, SolPowerPeople, Inc. CEO, and Cathy Redson, SolPowerPeople President.
