October 29, 2009, Brighton, MI Fronius has introduced the Fronius CL central PV inverter at Solar Power International in Anaheim, CA.
The Fronius CL inverter combines high-yield power electronics with a unique, modular system design of up to 15 identical power modules in one central unit, making it the optimal central inverter for large-scale PV systems. Utilizing the MIX™ concept, the CL ensures maximum energy harvest even on cloudy days and extends the service life of the system. Versatility and stability are key advantages in this sophisticated system with configurations of 9, 12 or 15 identical power modules available for output options ranging from 33.3kW to 60kW. Additional features include exact MPP tracking of the module manager, the automatic transformer switching function and much more, making the Fronius CL a distinctive multi-purpose device that guarantees continual high performance.
We are pleased to offer this new class of inverters designed to accommodate commercial applications. Fronius is targeting to release the CL PV central inverter in Q2, 2010.
