Industry Experts:
Danny Kennedy, Founder of Oakland based Sungevity will help us understand barriers the industry needs to overcome. Danny is a long-time social entrepreneur, and has achieved global recognition as an environmental activist, spokesperson, and opinion leader. The company’s mission is to make it easier
and more affordable for homeowners to reduce their monthly utility bills by installing rooftop photovoltaic panels.
Angiolo Laviziano, Board Member and former CEO of Mainstream Energy, is a frequent speaker at solar industry conferences and has published and presented a number of articles and papers in PV-related scientific magazines. He is personally driven by a vision for the environment and hopes his efforts will contribute to the energy revolution now
underway. The goal is to bring solar PV to the mainstream and in doing so, have a direct impact on the quality of the environment as a whole.
Jurgen Krehnke, President & GM of SMA North America, offers his expertise in the areas of sales, marketing, finance, logistics, and service. Krehnke’s
initial interest in renewable energy solutions turned into a passion after he joined Keiretsu Forum, the world’s largest organization of angel investors. As
a member of the SF chapter, he helped screen pre-IPO companies and advise entrepreneurs, especially in the clean technology and renewable energy space.
Nat Kreamer, CEO of Clean Power Finance, is a great addition to the Town Hall Forum panel. Nat’s original idea to finance solar for consumers led him to
co-found SunRun, which he led as the company’s President & COO. Nat was also the President of Acro Energy Technologies and he created the Chicago
Climate Exchange market-making business for Pioneer Futures, a division of MF Global.
Ned Harvey, the COO & VP of Finance at the Rocky Mountain Institute, brings his experience in diverse business leadership to the table. In this role at RMI, he drives institute-wide improvement in internal and external processes and aligns those processes to enhance RMI’s mission effectiveness. His extensive experience in project finance, business development, marketing, and business planning will assist the panel in determining direction for 2013.
