Solar Thermal for businesses is an area not to be forgotten. They have the budget to install and the incentive to protect against price spikes. A great deal of unnoticed solar installation is taking place in the commercial sector. Just ask Dave Smith of Sunworks Solar in NE Florida.

The more saturated I get from reading over 25 blogs per day and studying this subject now for over 30 yrs. I am sure of one thing, the same social polarity that pulls one way is the same Social polarity that pull the other way. In other words Solar Energy is a Social issue, not a Power issue, except for Social Power and the polarities that exist. This reflection of of our culture is in part of the Media and part of our Values as we have choices and the logic we use to judge is intrinsically perfect, yet the values we use are often incomplete of part of another influence in our lives... The Sun has always been shinning, and will continue, some day more will see thew light.

Thanks for your comments.

I attended the Hamilton Economic Summit today where the keynote speaker was Christopher B. Leinberger of the Brookings Institution. One of the points he hit on was the rise of 'walkable urbanism' in younger generations.

Given the trend of high-density growth in urban centres, I wonder if we may see some alignment of the classic residential vs. commercial issue in solar thermal.
