Hi:

The reason they hate it is that it trashed there water supply, for starters!! What good is anything, if you do not have water to drink??? Do YOU want to live on ground that has Methane coming off of it??
But again, with the Halliburton loophole, they don't have to worry about financial damages for doing such, so the business case remains compelling. Screw the people and the environment.
