I think those nails have had lubricant put on them not to mention their coffin is really made of paper mache...

Unfortunately, this article fails to write the epitaph for nuclear, because even though it is expensive and the waste is difficult to store safely, fossil fuels are also expensive when including carbon taxes and wind cannot provide anything but intermittent power.

Don't any Obama supporters on this web site have anything to say about his subsidized loan guarantees now totaling $54.5 billion for six nuclear plants ($4,000/KW out of almost $7,000/KW) owned by utility monopolies, especially given the high capital costs of these plants, the industry's record of cost overruns and loan defaults and his proposal to eliminate the nuclear waste dump at Yucca Mountain?

Also, Obama still refuses to give renewable energy companies using cost competitive biomass and geothermal technologies fair prices as feed-in tariffs.
