I think that solar energy will become the future of the most important forms of energy, and pollution-free, it is environmentally friendly. I now use solar water heaters, so I advocate everyone should work together to protect the environment.Provide a good site for everyone: http://www.china-solarwaterheaters.com/

Sometimes I wonder why energy efficiency receives such high poll numbers and still get so little direction. For example, all the literature, including such notables as LBNL, indicate commissioning and Monitoring Based Commissioning can achieve a 15% reduction in consumption. This is a reduction separate from retrofit. For the commercial market, this means that the country could reduce its energy bill by $12 billion per year. To accomplish that goal we need to create about 60,000 jobs at an annual cost of, say, $9 billion per year.

We need jobs. Energy efficiency can provide jobs and do so at a profit. But we don't commit to energy efficiency. The reason has to be that energy efficiency is not seen as the best use of corporate dollars. So, although 47% of those polled rank energy efficiency as job one, they most also believe there is a better alternative.

Glad to know that VC's and angels are channeling "slew of money" towards software technologies that manage energy use and energy/hybrid cars. The pollsters results are also encouraging towards Energy efficiency. Hope public mind wins a healthier planet to all.
