solar energy support to small Projects like one megawhatt unit must be supported,,
In fact India can be world leader in solar Energy. But we need small but great steps today before 2010.

Fresnel reflectors are 10% cheaper than parabolic? Can you be more specific ... are you referring to Ausra type reflectors (I could see that)? However I think the data on one-piece fresnel reflectors might need more analysis.

not to be a killjoy ... but I think it might be a bit pre-mature to celebrate that "carbon-weighted policies" are even going to happen.

Contact your congressmen. Tell the real story ... the oil subsidies ... the cost to the environment ... energy security ... dependence on criminally obtained resources by dictators and thugs. Get involved.

Nope, you're not being a killjoy at all. I think we need to be realistic about the possibility of a carbon weighted policy. However, based upon what I'm hearing from people in DC, I think we're going to see something in the not-so-distant future. Will it be exactly what we want it to be? No. But is it a great start? Most likely.
