Most recently, Mr. Stein served as general manager of the robotics product group and director of quality at Brooks Automation, where he was responsible for the introduction and market growth of semiconductor wafer and flat-panel display automation equipment. He has extensive experience in the photovoltaic industry, having developed photovoltaic applications and materials early in his career in conjunction with the NASA for terrestrial solar cells. He has also developed thin film processes and equipment for the Department of Defense, National Institutes of Health and Department of Energy applications. Mr. Stein holds B.S. degrees in Physics and Philosophy from Pennsylvania State University.
