Interesting article. Does anyone know if there are proposals on how to meter renewable heat production to operate the incentive scheme? And I don't know if incentivising production is a good idea - we should be reducing production at the same time as switching to renewables, so the incentive should be for reducing fossil fuel use, not necessarily the same as increasing renewables.

No Martin the current idea is to use presumed output.

Could geothermal heat pumps (with generation of "free" hot water) be part of this mix?
