The bill also extends the residential solar credit for one year and removes the $2,000 cap. The bill currently has 23 co-sponsors. The vehicle for the package has not yet been announced; however, those behind the bill are confident they can get the 61 co-sponsors that the bill will need to pass the Senate.

I believe Senator Ensign is a Republican, not a Democrat as this article indicates. Would the writer of the article please check and correct it if need be?

This is important point as Senator Ensign voted against the ITC provisions in December 07.

Has Senator McCain, who did not vote on the measure in December, been asked where he stands on the extension and expansion of the ITC?
