Yahoo! Names Top Ten Green Cities in America

Hastings, Nebraska [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Yahoo! Inc. announced that Hastings, Nebraska, has won its "Be a Better Planet" Greenest City in America challenge. Hastings will receive a grand prize of $250,000 to be dedicated toward city-greening projects, developed in conjunction with Global Green USA. More than 350 cities participated in "Be a Better Planet" and following the month-long campaign, the other nine top Greenest Cities in America were Pelzer, South Carolina; San Carlos, California; Mill Valley, California; Topeka, Kansas; Dover, Delaware; Spring, Texas; Lawrence, Kansas; Walnut Creek, California; and Fairfax, Virginia. Advice for how to invest the $250,000 prize is welcomed using Yahoo! Answers.
