It will be nice to see Cummins and other diesel manufacturers come up with advanced combustion models that can fit small 2-4 passenger commuter automobiles and use higher percentage blends of biodiesel fuels (up to B-100). Unlike hydrogen, the infrastructure is mostly there today (gas stations and distributors, etc.) to support increased biodiesel use now. And expansion of fuel production would provide a recycle market for used cooking oils that otherwise enter the waste stream. Detroit needs to make these cars before the Japanese, Germans and Chinese steal the market !!
