Industrial Solar Technology (IST), under the able guidence of President Kenneth May, has helped in pioneering solar air conditioning systems. One wonders if the new owners, Abengoa, will retain Mr. May and allow he and his team to continue pressing the edges of what we think possible for solar thermal technologies. We certainly hope so. If not, good luck in all your explorations Mr. May.

Having just seen the report on BBC News, concerning the Solucar Thermal pwer station in Seville, Spain, we are at a total loss as to why the British government wants SO much build more Fossil-fuel power stations and Neuclear power stations, poisoning the environment even further, when they could so easily put funding towards the building of installations, such as the one in Seville, and thus save our planet!

To the Osborne's,
The UK is not a viable location for CSP. Direct, unclouded sunshine is necessary for the collection efficiencies to be worth pursuing. Spain has such an environment. Keep up the pressure for PV, wind, and wave which are much more suitable for the UK.
