Masters Course for Solar Engineers to Specialize

Chicago, Illinois [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] The European Solar Engineering School (ESES) in Borlange, Sweden, is accepting applications for its Masters Programs. In collaboration with Dalarna University and the Swedish Solar Energy Research Center (SERC), a one-year Masters Program in solar engineering offers four courses for the autumn semester with 7.5 ECTS credits each: "Advanced PV engineering," "Advanced solar thermal engineering," "Applied solar energy" and "Utilization of solar energy." Applications are being accepted for the next study period, which begins in August 2006. Students who have graduated from ESES' program, which is in its seventh year, have gone on to work in a variety of solar companies or in solar and energy research. The program is designed for students with a bachelor's degree in engineering or physics (or similar) who want to specialize in solar energy. Deadline for application for non-European students is the 1st of March; for European students it is the 15th of April.
