I state again, for the record: California rebates for solar are NOT paid for by the utilities. This story states: American Apparel "will also benefit from a generous rebate from the Southern California Gas Company." SoCalGas administers this rebate (for which it is paid) - it does not provide the funds. We, as ratepayers, pay for the rebates, which I support. I find it incredibly deceptive that the utilities claim credit for these rebates. Please do not propagate this deceptive business practice in your stories about solar.
