Brazil to Build Three Wind Energy Farms

Sao Paulo, Brazil [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] A financing contract of US$206 million for the construction of three wind energy farms in the city of Osorio, in the southernmost Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, was signed by the presidents of the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), Guido Mantega, and the wind energy company Ventos do Sul Energia, Telmo Magadan.
The Proinfa (the Financial Support Program for Alternative Energy Sources) foresees total investments of US$4.121 billion in projects for wind energy, biomass and small hydroelectric plants.
According to information from the Brazilian government and the BNDES, the complex will be the second largest in the world and the largest in Latin America.
The project will have the capacity of generating 150 MW of electric energy, according to the BNDES, and will create 500 direct employment opportunities during its installation. It is forecast to start operations in 2006. According to the country's presidency, in Brazil today there are only 28.6 MW of wind-generated energy installed, just 0.03% of the national capacity for generating energy. The financing by the BNDES corresponds to 69 percent of the total value of the undertaking, which will take place under the Financial Support Programme for Alternative Energy Sources (Proinfa) of the Ministry of Mines and Energy. As was informed by ANBA in January, the Proinfa foresees total investments of US$ 4.121 billion in projects for wind energy, biomass and small hydroelectric plants. The company Ventos do Sul will construct the three plants in Osorio, which has as partners the Spanish Enerfin Enervento, which is controlled by Elecnor; Wobbe, the Brazilian subsidiary of the German group Enercon; and the Brazilian CIP Brasil.

The wind as I think it no more then the sunny hours.
But together with the biomass system and Concentrating Solar Power possible to produce electricity all over the year thereby that using a new invention.
It is a forgotten systems the Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) which was
beginning about 25 years ago with "Molten Salt Solar Energy Towers" and "Parabolic Through System". Now we made a new invention which was published at 04.August, 2005!!! by the WIPO under the number of WO 2005 /071037, A1.
And we are working in Europe for a cheaper and better Concentrating Solar Power system. Our system makes electricity through steam by solar energy and therefore possible to combine it with biomass, in the rest time when somewhere are not enough sunny hours in the year.
