University of Michigan Wins Solar Challenge

The University of Michigan' s car, Momentum, made the trip from Austin, Texas, to Calgary, Alberta, in a cumulative time of 53 hours, 59 minutes and 43 seconds, for an average speed of 46.2 mph.

Congratulations to the race competitors, we need more focus like this on renewables. I understand that the solar car from Calgary put in a fine performance at about one twentieth of the cost of the winning cars. Could someone advise what the cars cost?
