hope england gets the games. why doesn't new york take this same idea, and do it bigger, better etc. maybe influence spinless senators to stand up to the president and demand that he sign the kioto agreement with the rest of the thinking world.

19,000kWh can light 33 houses, as lighting constitutes 20% of the power demand, and power 6 houses (average 3-bed home uses 3000kWh/yr).

There must be some error in the figures. 19.000 kWh will not be enoght for 33 houses. That will give each house only 575kWh per year.

Why not set up a higher goal ?
All energy from reneweble energy.
My own house use only reneweble energy for heating and electricity.
