According to the NREL website:http://rredc.nrel.gov/solar/codes_algs/PVWATTS/version1/New_Mexico/Albuquerque.html , a 25 KW fixed mount PV array in Albuquerque will generate 52,900 KWH per year, or $4658. at the retail price of 8.8 cents/KWH. If those "20 average-sized New Mexico homes" used electricity for neither heat nor air conditioning, they would still use about twice as much as that PV array will generate.

I'm all for solar power (there's a PV array on my roof) but let's not misrepresent the facts or we will lose credibility.

I would really like to see pictures of the hardware, the actual workings, and cost/subsidy numbers. Does the "permission" include dollars to make the system work at the present cost of other sources?
