Composite Technology Receives Orders for Turbines and Components

Irvine, California [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Composite Technology Corporation (CTC) received orders valued at $16 million from Shanghai Electric Group for the delivery of three assembled and two unassembled DeWind 1.25 megawatts (MW) D6 wind turbines as well as orders for various components required to assemble additional D6 turbines. Shanghai Electric Group holds a license to manufacture and sell D6 turbines in China. The DeWind series of wind energy turbines including the 50Hz D6 rated at 1.25 MW and the 50 Hz D8 rated at 2 MW, are produced, sold and licensed by EU Energy Ltd.
